Pada awal bulan Maret sampai akhir bulan Mei, bunga-bunga sakura bermekaran di negara Jepang. Orang-orang berbondong-bondong mengadakan piknik di bawah pepohonan sakura untuk mengalami keindahan bunga-bunga yang bermekaran dengan sementara. Budaya ini disebut "Hanami (花見)".
"Lovely Lovely Hanami" adalah karya transformatif dari seorang seniman muda bernama Giacitta Afia Jannadira, atau yang akrab kami kenal sebagai Gia.
Hanami adalah sebuah karakter berbentuk rusa yang diciptakan oleh Gia sebagai perbentangan dirinya sendiri. "Lovely Lovely Hanami" adalah bentuk kulminasi dari eksplorasi dan eksperimentasi karakter ini.
Saat Gia meneliti asal usul karakter Hanami, Gia sedang meneliti dirinya sendiri. Saat Gia menggambar Hanami, Gia sedang menggambar dirinya sendiri. Saat Gia belajar menjahit Hanami, Gia sedang belajar merangkai dirinya sendiri. Sehingga pada akhirnya, saat Gia membagikan karakter Hanami, Gia sesungguhnya membuka diri dan memperkenalkan dirinya sendiri.
Melalui Hanami, Gia belajar dari dirinya sendiri. Melalui Gia, Hanami akhirnya hadir disini.
